The JEE Main and Advanced exams are conducted by different authorities. IIT JEE main is conducted by NTA twice a year for colleges like NITs, CFTIs, IIITs, and others.
Eventually, IIT JEE Advanced is conducted by themselves for direct admission into their IITs. Both exams are correlated and have a high standard. For more information read the article.
